  1. Chill the Apple Strudel Base to 40º F. prior to use.
  2. Add half of the Apple Strudel base to the ice cream mix in the batch freezer and freeze.
  3. As the ice cream is being filled into the containers, fold in the remaining Apple Strudel Base as a variegate, and sprinkle in the Pie Crust, turning the container occasionally to achieve uniform distribution of the ice cream, the apples and the crust.

Note: A three-gallon container of ice cream requires 8 ounces of Pie Crust and 30 Fluid Ounces of the Apple Strudel Base.
