Rhino Foods began in 1981 as a small ice cream shop in Winooski, Vermont, called Chessy’s Frozen Custard. Today, the company is still run by the founder, Ted Castle, in Vermont, making high quality ingredients for ice cream production.
Rhino has supplied the ice cream and commercial food service industry with inclusions and mix-ins for frozen desserts for over two decades. They are the innovators behind the cookie dough inclusion that made cookie dough ice cream the fastest growing flavor over the past 20 years.
