National Peach Cobbler Day: 3 Great Peach Ice Cream Recipes to Help You Celebrate!

Peach cobbler gets its name from the rough look of the pie, given that it looks “cobbled together”.

National Peach Cobbler Day was originally created by the Georgia Peach Council to help sell canned peaches. Since then, it has been celebrated as a day of delicious peach desserts.

Instructions
  1. Chill the Sliced Peaches to 40° F. prior to use.
  2. Add the Fresh Flavor For Peach to the ice cream mix in the freezer and freeze.
  3. As the ice cream is being filled into the containers, sprinkle in the Sugar Gem Squares and fold in the Sliced Peaches, turning the container occasionally to achieve uniform distribution of the ice cream, the squares and the peaches.

Note: A three-gallon container of ice cream requires 13 ounces of Sugar Gem Squares and 28 fluid ounces of Sliced Peaches.

Storage: To insure maximum freshness, store the Sugar Gem Squares in the freezer and the Sliced Peaches in the cooler.
